We're Looking For a Few Good Volunteers
Apply to start a new chapter in your local community.
Responsible for organizing, promoting, and running local meetings. Meetings can include Meet & Greet (networking), Code & Coffee (individual/pair/group programming), or instructional formats.
Marketing and Publicity
Ability to write press releases and create marketing materials a plus.
Do you know how to break complex topics into easy-to-follow instruction? Do you like to write curriculum or organize lessons? Are you comfortable giving short video lessons on foundational computer science topics? We use free and affordable resources available on the internet to help milspouses learn to code, but there are gaps that need to be filled, and we’re looking for help to do that well.
As with any [amazing] organization, we are constantly growing and expanding what we offer. We can always use jacks-of-all-trades and volunteers who don’t know what they can offer yet. No coding experience necessary–we just need a willingness to serve the milspouse community.
